Dr. Malte Anders is a qualified pharmacist and also holds a B. Sc. in international business administration. He is a patent professional at the firm Richardt Patentanwälte.

Dr. Malte Anders studied international business administration at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management on a full scholarship. After national and international internships in investment banks (e.g. Barclays Capital London, Goldman Sachs Frankfurt) he studied pharmacy at the Goethe University Frankfurt. This was followed by a scientific PhD in the field of biosignal processing at the Fraunhofer Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology ITMP Frankfurt in cooperation with Goethe University and TU Munich. Mr. Anders published a large number of papers on quantification of pain using electroencephalography in humans and animals in international peer-reviewed journals.
