Dr. Felix Weidner is a biophysicist and patent professional at Richardt Patentanwälte. 

Dr. Weidner first studied physics at the University of Stuttgart, where he specialized in the field of quantum information processing. 

This was followed by a Master's degree in biophysics and a subsequent doctorate at Ulm University. Here, Dr. Weidner conducted research at the interface between biology, physics and computer science and published articles in high-ranking journals on topics including machine learning methods for the analysis of gene regulatory networks and the use of non-standard hardware to simulate such networks. In particular, Dr. Weidner worked on the development of new applications of quantum computers. 

His dissertation was awarded summa cum laude.
