Dr. Brian George Heil studied physics at the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (USA) holding a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He received his doctorate from the Ruhr University in Bochum (Germany) in the field of plasma physics. His research also focused on diagnostic radiology and nano-technology (MEMS). Before starting his professional career in the field of intellectual property rights, Dr. Heil worked for several Silicon Valley-based companies in the semiconductor industry.
